Annual General Meeting 10/9/2023

Items discussed:

 

Sunny presented the proposed slate of officers for 2024. She then continued to give a description of the duties involved in each one. Kathy Kelsay was thanked for her work of our Line Dance website. The slate of officers presented:

President – Sunny Griffin

Vice President – Ann Wicker

Treasurer - Jaime Albano

Secretary – Chris Sanderson

 

She asked if there were any questions or nominations from the floor. There being none, the proposed slate was approved unanimously.

 

It was suggested that we buy a few pairs of dance socks to have on hand for anyone who needs them, especially new people.

Anne Sage volunteered to write articles for OHCC Living. Thanks Anne.

Barbara Dudeck volunteered to be our Sunshine person. Thank you.

There was interest in having some sort of social event. The Board supports this idea. All we need is someone to lead the charge and a committee. Please let Sunny know if you’d like to follow through on this.

 

Donna was not available to report our bank balance as she’s horribly sick.

 

We all send good wishes. There will be another Board meeting before the year’s end to discuss Do Dues Day (1/13). Date not yet determined.
